SOUTH CITY CALENDAR, OCTOBER SPOTLIGHT

liftoffalpha • October 4, 2019

This month in our South City Calendar, we feature Antigua Coffee Shop on Grand Avenue. Since visiting Antigua last year when we featured them in our 2018 Calendar, we’ve been back several times. We love all that Antigua has to offer. Yes, they are known around town for great coffee and really delicious breakfast. But still not everybody knows about their amazing HAPPY HOUR. It really is like a local’s secret, we feel like we shouldn’t be sharing but we think people should take advantage of this gem of a spot. Not only are the prices super reasonable but the food is GOOOOOD!

They offer tapas such as Veggie Empanadas, Quesadillas, Flautitas, Truffle Fries, Homemade Chips, Sliders, and more. For drinks they have a vast array of beer on tap and a variety of wine, but what makes their Happy Hour special is their house specialties such as both white and red Sangria, Bellinis (made with mango, passion fruit or peach), Mimosas made with fresh squeezed orange juice, Micheladas, and the list goes on. Antigua is a great place to meet up with friends and family after work or for weekend brunch. And now they have their own line of coffee so you can purchase and make an amazing cup of Antigua Coffee at home!

Don’t take our word for it, you’ve got to check it out for yourself. Visit Antigua, located at 437A Grand Ave. in South San Francisco. Antigua’s Happy Hour menu is offered Monday through Friday 4 PM to 7 PM. Grab your and check it out. Thank you Antigua for being a part of our South City Calendar and thank you for being an awesome addition to the South City Community, Cheers!

I’d be happy to […] The post There’s a lot of momentum in the housing market in 2021 appeared first on Lisa Marroquin.

The house was perfect, the price was right, the offer was strong. It was our client’s first time bidding on a home and she got it! That’s right, unheard of in the Bay Area. Beginners luck? We think not. And after you read the whole story, we think you’ll agree that sometimes the stars align […] The post Cold Feet appeared first on Lisa Marroquin.

Your Quintessential San Francisco Waterfront Dining Experience. Yes, the restaurant may be filled with tourists but this isn’t one of those “tourist traps”. This place has seriously good seafood – the kind of place I bring my relatives when they’re visiting from out of town. I occasionally find myself eating here with co-workers and friends […] The post Fog Harbor Fish House appeared first on Lisa Marroquin.

Second is its history as […] The post Artisan Foods at SF Ferry Building appeared first on Lisa Marroquin.
